Week of March 27th
Our production company is named Stellar Productions and consists of: Paula, Alejandra, Ailyn, Rafael, Kevin and myself. We decided to start with a PSA and on Tuesday we had most of our plans ready so we could start filming. That day, Paula checked out a camera and we went to the park to shoot our film. Since we had an early dismissal, my production company got to finish filming everything we needed for our PSA and we decided to edit the film the next day. On Wednesday and Thursday, Paula and Alejandra were editing the film by cutting unnecessary parts and they were also trying to get our PSA under the 1-minute rule. When we saw our footage, Paula and I thought that some scenes did not go well with the rest of the acts so we were talking about filming more parts or filming the same scenes over again.

What Music Means To Me
Music is an escape from problems regarding school, relationships or family. When I'm stressed out on my schoolwork, laying down and listening to music always helps. It helps because then I don't have to think about schoolwork or my grades but instead of the lyrics that are playing. I don't limit myself to a specific genre but I like listening to mostly Classic Rock. When I'm not feeling my best I listen to Aerosmith because their songs are something that many people can relate to and when I just want to be in a happier mood I listen to ACDC. One band that I love listening to is Blink-182 because their songs are sometimes funny and other times serious. I like how their songs consist of a variety of topics and that this band is not described as the band that "only has sad songs". When I'm depressed for whatever reason, I listen to Simple Plan. Simple Plan has a lot of depressing songs but they have a great way of making you feel better. Music helps me in every way. When I'm bored I listen to music, when I'm stressed I listen to music, and when I'm feeling happy I listen to music. Without music, life would have no great escape.

Problems and Struggles
Some of the problems students at Bell High School face are the classes they're taking. In the magnet program, students have no other choice into taking a certain class because that is the only class that is available. Having students take a higher class they don't want to take, might create problems because perhaps they don't understand the material which results in them failing the class and their gpa lowering. Another problem students face in Bell High are the teachers. Again for the students in the magnet program, their AP exams are coming up and because of this, the teachers are trying to get everything done and so they're rushing lessons and this is not good because then students can again, not understand the lesson because everything is in a rush. Some struggles students at Bell High might face are the location of classes. Most classes are by the As but then some students have to struggle to walk fast in order to be on time to their class in the main building.

The Most Interesting Man In The World!
Rod Serling has to be the most interesting director and actor I know of. When growing up, I used to tune into Channel 5 during Thanksgiving Day to watch Rod Serling's Twilight Zone marathon. The Twilight Zone is a sci-fi show and it's episodes are crazy; some that make you think "what if". Rod Serling wrote many of the stories and to me, he seems very interesting because his stories are things you don't even think of. If I were to have met Rod Serling back when he was alive, I would ask him where he got his ideas from: was it his favorite show or was it just his imagination running wild? Apart from The Twilight Zone, Rod Serling also had a show called The Outer Limits which consisted of strange happenings. If I had the chance to meet Rod Serling, I would ask what his favorite movie, book, and show were, just to get an insight into what drove him into creating a unique show based on the genre of science fiction.

My Anti-Drug
My anti-drug would be music and friends. Music helps me relax; for example when I'm under a lot of stress, going to sleep listening to music just releases all the worries that I have in school. Music helps me relax because some of my favorite artists send good inspiration through their lyrics. When I'm alone I also sing which in some way is my anti-drug because it's something I enjoy and it's not necessarily school-related in the way that it doesn't stress me out. My friends are also my anti-drug and they help me because they tell me not to worry too much and they help me feel better when I'm not feeling my best. Having friends to hang out with gives me the time to do others things other than school work, which frees me of my worries for a little while. I think my better anti-drug would be music because if my friends can't hangout for some reason, I always have some sort of device that has music in it. To me,
